E-Commerce

E-commerce has progressed rapidly in recent times, moving from self-hosted to all-in-one solutions hosted online by companies such as Shopify, BigCommerce and Volusion. These e-commerce solutions offer a great range of themes, as well as the ability to customize everything exactly as desired. They are also known for a fantastic back-end user interface, enabling the client to efficiently manage their shop.

If you are using WordPress, WooCommerce is great package. This requires a bit more work as it needs to be integrated into your theme, but there are endless options to help you get your site exactly as you want it. The majority of the work I do when taking on an e-commerce project is installing and then styling the theme to get it exactly as the client desires.

For those that don't use WordPress and would like to host their own shop, there are many other solutions.
